Reggie G
Born and raised in Louisiana, Reggie G grew up with music as part of his everyday life, producing, creating and releasing music as early as the late 90’s. He took that love of music with him to Southern Methodist University in Dallas TX, where he obtained a BA in Advertising. Reggie continued his education at Southern Methodist University, graduating with a Masters Degree in Applied Economics.
During his time in college, Reggie also concentrated on developing his musical talent by establishing Masta Minds Entertainment LLC, an independent record label and entertainment company, and continuing to create, produce and release music through entrepreneurial platforms. His experience includes single “I Stay On It” Nielsen Urban charts #106 and Medibase Rhythmic charts #307 out of Nielsen Soundscan, BDS and Mediabase. His songs are featured on CBS’s CSI, ABC’s The Forgotten, NBC's Chase and TNT's Dark Blue. “Reggie believes the artist should own their work through intellectual property awareness.”
Reggie sees his music as an extension of himself, and wants to create music that will appeal to a wide range of people, including people who would not traditionally be hip hop fans. He does this by introducing world rhythms into his music and by creating non-stereotypical hip hop. "If I create it and you like it, then you should buy it, because that's good business."
